Our Story & Who We Are

My name is Magina Shimuna, mother of four (two daughters and two sons) and grandmother of five grandchildren, two of whom have passed. On April 30, 2024, my daughter gave birth to twins: Zaïna 🩷 and Zayan 💙. At nearly 20 weeks, Zaïna died in utero, and Zayan 30 minutes after birth. We gave them all our love before saying goodbye.

With over 20 years in CHSLDs caring for seniors and children with disabilities, I have deep experience with vulnerable people. Families often asked me to stay for end-of-life accompaniment — every care with respect and love.

As a Doula who has supported about twenty women, and a law-of-attraction life coach for two years, I realized their brief passage guided me to my vocation: to help, guide and listen — an angel of compassion.

My name is Lyne Codio, mother of two wonderful daughters and grandmother of a little princess. After over 20 years in finance, I left that field two years ago to find my true path — no longer working for someone else.

Certified in personal relationship coaching, I searched for my vocation until I met two precious souls, Zaïna and Zayan. Their grandmother Magina is my heart sister; I lived that ordeal as if those children were my own.

Together our visions joined to create “Angels of Rest — Zaïna & Zayan,” a home-visit service where rigor, empathy and moral support bring serenity to families.
